The Antigua Casona San Blas is a family-owned and operated boutique hotel in the historic center of Cusco with 50 rooms. evrything is beautiful! The bed is very comfortable so are the pillows. The hotel is suoer nice! The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The food is very good. Great location

The access is a bit tricky through country roads, but once you arrive and the gates open, it truly feels like paradise. The rooms are spacious and the service is excellent. On top of that, the hotel is located right next to sacred valley river where you can chill. And if you love animals, you’ll be delighted !! There are dogs, cat, rabbit, chickens, guinea pigs, and even a Lama !

Due to my delayed luggage the boss himself and the others in the reception met my needs, helped me acquire maintenance items and even helped me communicating with the airline concerning delivery of my luggage - all without hesitation. I was even offered postponed checkout which helped me alot.

The property was amazing, the breakfast was very good and we got an upgrade for our room. As well as that, the view was Great for new years as we got to see all the fire works from the Terrace.

The rooms are on a modern standard with a lovely individual touch. If available book the river side. You have a great view of Urubamba river. This makes your stay even more special. The service is outstanding. Alcines, the manager helped us to get last minute tickets for Machu Picchu. He came with us to the Ministry of culture and translated for us. Thanks for all your help! Breakfast Buffet is really nice. With all you may want for good breakfast including freshly made Omelett. The service from Maria made our mornings chilled and enjoyable. Just say - book Casa del Sol for your Machu Picchu experience and my recommendation is, book at least 2 nights for a chilled and smooth visit to the holy Inka Mountain. Frank
