Lizzy Wasi is a beautiful little hotel in Urubamba - the gardens are so beautiful and the alpacas are a real treat to hang around with. The property is a short walk into the town (10 mins). We wish that we'd spent more time there and also visited Luna's Horses next door!

We love Pisac and this Inn was magical. I felt as if we were staying in a hidden garden. The location on the main square was perfect. Every person was so helpful. The food was great. The shower was strong and hot. We will most definitely return life a longer stay.

Aranwa is set on a sumptuous 17th century hacienda on the road to Machu Pichu. Luxurious facilities include a swimming pool, a spa featuring alternative medicine treatments and a museum. Everything was pretty good overall. All email communications with Gustavo were great prior to our stay and during. We originally booked on booking.com at a very high price and kept looking and got a much better deal.....so I'd suggest if you're paying approx $250 USD it's a good deal. Food was great, grounds are immaculate (loved the 🦜 & all the 💐's), pool was nice and cold but great when in the sun for abit! We were there 2 nights/ 3 days for the sole purpose of relaxing and that's sure what we did. As mentioned in prior reviews, we found Peruvian families on site using the facilities and their clothing everywhere by the pool and grounds...maybe lockers should be provided for this. Only 6 lounge chairs by the pool, so not really good in that sense when hotel guests who are paying can't even get access. Also tables to put drinks on would be good (I think I also only saw 1 of those and again occupied by non-hotel guests). It would be nice if they had the theatre in English as well maybe at a different time. We couldn't get the TV to work really nor in English even after the maintenance guy came. We had several mosquitoes in the room upon check in, however was quickly rectified with a call to the desk and a lady came to spray and put plug ins. Woukd have been nice if we had clean chairs outside on the balcony for morning coffee (they were covered in bird poop) so we layed towels down on them as they were a tad tough to get clean. Yolanda at breakfast was exceptional. Went above and beyond for Us. We were also celebrating our Anniversary and they added a little nice touch to Our room upon arrival. We found it very clean, quiet, great food (make sure to save room for the Aranwa Experience desert....it's exceptional and have your phone ready for a video!). We had a pisco sour demonstration and it was awesome as we made our own & then got to consume them. They were delicious!!.

Part of Tierra Viva Hotels Chain, this property is located in Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley, 60 km from the centre of Cusco and only 11 km from Ollantaytambo, the starting point to explore... I loved the place! The service was super kind, beautiful view, easy to find, great breakfast, good shower and bed. I highly recommend!!

I loved the view of the mountains, the environment was amazing, and the owners are an amazing family that makes us feel soo incredibly comfortable like they were there for us all the time and that was so nice. The tree house is really good and have some pillows and games. Also the place has two hammocks, which I consider was the best place to relax and the jacuzzi is incredibly amazing, if you do it at night you have the chance to see the stars and it's simply the best. For sure, the best place to stay and you will have the best memories. The breakfast was sooo tasty!

This lodge is a peaceful and beautiful nature retreat nestled between Urubamba and Ollantaytambo. The owner is incredibly kind and thoughtful, with a deep background in conservation and healing work. She is truly genuine in her efforts to give back, working closely with knowledge keepers, weavers, and conservation initiatives to create regenerative experiences for travelers. The lodge has a strong spiritual and relational focus, making it a space that supports meaningful connections. In a competitive hotel market often driven by extractive tourism, this authenticity is invaluable. It was important to us to know that we were investing in a place that is deeply conscious of its impact on both people and the land. Accommodation: The lodge is fairly new, with minimalist yet comfortable rooms that have a quaint charm. The beds are very cozy, and the service was attentive, accommodating, and genuinely helpful. During our stay, we had the opportunity to experience a sound healing and kundalini activation, which was amazing. We also visited a hummingbird sanctuary and went on a beautiful hidden hike for 40 soles (covering the split taxi fare and sanctuary entrance fee). Location: The lodge sits near the river, surrounded by lush greenery, wildflowers, and hidden spots to explore along the riverbanks and train tracks. A small creek runs nearby too. We specifically wanted to be outside the more touristy and gentrified areas of Pisac and Ollantaytambo while still having easy access to both for day trips. Urubamba offers a more local vibe but still has great restaurants, a market, and cute cafés. It also has some lesser-known ruins and hiking trails. Collectivos to Urubamba or Ollantaytambo cost just 1.50 soles, and a ride to Pisac is 5 soles. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay in nature with easy access to the Sacred Valley and good value for money, this lodge is a perfect choice. Its emphasis on spirituality, healing, and cultural connection was really special.

The Lodge is highly recommendable. The area is super safe and close to the center of Urubamba. The Family Bungalows are very spacious and super clean. We saw that the team cleaned everything (including curtains and windows) after each departure. They cleaned it also from the „former“ energy. Breakfast was served direkt to your bungalow at the time you want - just tell them per WhatsApp or personally. The service is outstanding. Luis and Anna helped us more than we ever expected. I had a medical issue because of the altitude and Luis drove us to the medical center - stayed and translated for us! Just amazing! Anna and Luis are the souls and the owners of the Kutimuy Lodge - Thank you for all you did - from our hearts! Go there - enjoy the Lodge and never ask if the price is to high! It is not!
