Super clean and comfortable hotel. Our kid got a nice goody bag upon arrival. The staff was super helpful, they took time to explain the town history and marked all the spots we should visit. Beds were super soft and bedlinens felt real fresh. Toiletries were of good quality. Breakfast was plentiful. Everything was top notch. We really felt well taken care of.

The Aurora Spa can be accessed for a surcharge. Ski tracks and hiking trails are right next door. Snowmobiling, ice fishing and dog sledding are popular in winter. Summer leisure options include horse riding, guided city tours and hiking. We booked one of the chalets. It was very quiet and peaceful there. We loved the breakfast with a huge selection of healthy and fresh food. For the vegans out there - in Camp Ripan you will not starve! 😅

The in-house breakfast buffet and the Aurora spa were really amazing. Do take out some time for the spa/sauna facilities to get that relaxation experience. Even the entry to the sauna is quite cool with the mini-waterfall effect. The rooms are well-equipped as well, and you can park your car right next to the door. We saw quite a few animals nearby (hares and deer), and there are good hiking paths and snow-show paths nearby. Wintersports are obviously a plus-point here.

Aurora River Camp is in a very nice position, in 20 min walking it is possible to reach the Ice Hotel and the Siida Sami museums. The supermarket is also located in between these two. We spent one night in a glass igloo, very cozy. It was an amazing experience. The use of sauna was also included, absolutely recommended! The lounge was clean and cozy, with three bathrooms where was possible to take a shower (which for obvious reasons of space is not present in the igloo!). Breakfast was good.

Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent facilities. The spa was wonderfully relaxing, and we even saw Aurora from the outdoor pool, which was a bonus. The rooms were good sizes, warm and clean, with comfy bed. The breakfast was excellent. Help was available to organise tours and trips if needed. Supermarket a 10 minute walk away too if needed.

Nice room and excellent breakfast. Good bed and pretty quiet at night. The spa is very small and doesn’t have a hot tub, but it has an outside pool and three great saunas. They only take limited amount of people in the spa so it was roomy enough.

Great location, right next to the bus stop from the airport and to the old town and train station. Room spacious and very clean. Sauna had great views. Nice buffet breakfast/dinner and lobby/restaurant area. Staff very accommodating for a late check out which really helped.

Everything ! It was very peaceful! A small paradise in the middle of the Abisko National Park! A huge and great kitchen, traditional sauna, many spaces to relax, close to Abisko village and 5 minutes walking distance from train station!
