Situated in the heart of Uppsala, Clarion Hotel Gillet offers free WiFi and Scandinavian-style rooms with Smart TV. Uppsala Cathedral is 300 metres away. It features the on-site Selma City Spa with two hot tubs, a common sauna and various body treatments. I do not usually write reviews, but the staff at this hotel were really exceptional. They made me incredibly welcome and were extremely accommodating. I arrived very early and they found me a room immediately, allowing me to have a much-needed rest after a very early flight. The rooms were compact but perfect for one person. The breakfast was really lovely and I very much enjoyed the meal I had in the restaurant one evening. I was in Upsala for a conference and this really was a perfect place to stay and I would heartily recommend it to others.
