The scenery, the room and the provided kayak right behind the room. Rooftop bed is great for stargazing but we're unfortunate as it was cloudy for our entire stay.

You had your own private space and bathroom and outside areas to relax in too. The property had a locked gate and CCTV camera out front which made it feel safe. The room was clean and towels, dental kits, shower caps/ gels/ shampoo / conditioner were provided as well as a hair dryer.

The location was great 711 a few minutes walk. Massages and laundry close by. Breakfast a choice of 2 hot meals, cereal and toast. The room we stayed in was poolside access to pool 24/7. There are good cheap restaurants that listened to 'not so spicy' food. Netflix and Google TV excellent. The room size was better than I thought. Huge bathroom the water pressure was great and consistent. Shower is great size. The bed was so comfortable. About 20 minutes walk to a nice coffee shop and currency exchange. and River Kwai Bridge. Had a kettle which was very much needed by us as I like tea (I take my own) There was real milk in the fridge. Bolt is available and 60 bht up town and down.80bht to markets.Grab is also available. Close by is car rentals just 1000 bht. ( be careful of the petrol in it, ours had none!)

Royal Resort and Spa is a beautiful hotel located along the banks of River Kwai. It features spacious accommodation with private balconies and the luxury of an outdoor pool. The property and staff were great.

The river view is awesome. Peaceful, quiet and relax. Highly recommend ppl who like to find a restful and peaceful place to calm. It’s convenient for car driver. You can biking around the property area. The room size is good. Although the resort has aged, the facilities are well cared. Bedding are clean and comfortable. The on-site view is exactly as the same as photos.
