Carl Saquet, the receptionist, my men went an extra mile for me even if I was coming only for one night. He set up a room service for me and my date. Which made the whole night.

The little lights, trees and plants between them: it was such a relief after te Hilton South Padre yesterday. Same price, 100 times better. Also a charming short walk to the river walk where one finds such a charming city Center and many restaurants. Nice staff, all smiles and pulling maps ; great. The room is big, original lay out, and the pool is great.

We stayed for a week in September. It was a perfect location for a base to tour the area and the few minutes drive from the highway made us feel worlds away from the hustle and bustle.
