Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. This lodge is absolutely amazing from the warm and comfortable rooms to the delicious food and the awesome staff who ensure your every need is met. I loved the views and everything about this stunning lodge. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Gondwana Game Reserve, where Big Five game roams free through the Cape fynbos, is located 25 km from Mosselbay. The experience was superb. We saw lots of game , lions and a cheetah up close in the wild. At times it was brutal ( a lion eating a zebra) but real.

Trogon House offers treetop accommodation in the Tsitsikamma Forest, 15 minutes’ drive from the beaches of Plattenberg Bay. fabulous stay and beautiful venue. the staff were great and looked us very well. highly recommend for couples seeking a break from reality!
