The staff was extremely friendly, I sprained my ankle during my stay and they even remembered when I bumped in to them again later that week in town. The hosting was very personal and friendly, this will probably be my go to place to stay when I need a hotel in Hoedspruit

The staff was very friendly, they asked us to join them next to the fire. Very good welcome. The food is awesome! The place is amazing, you can see all the area around with many animals.

This place is a little gem. Perfect location, right next to incredible reserves in greater Kruger. One day we woke up to giraffes right at our doorstep. The owner is absolutely lovely, helpful and attentive to every detail. She helped us arrange all our outings, food orders and everything we asked. The food she made was the most delicious we had in South Africa, even compared to our 5 star JHB hotel. We are vegetarian and have some food allergies and she catered to every need. The room itself is gorgeous with one indoor and one outdoor shower, and one indoor and one outdoor bed to watch the milky way at night and hear the lions roar. Truly magical.

Location 10 minutes to Hoedspruit town. Unless giraffes are standing in the road, which could mean a short delay. Gated “soft game” wildlife estate. Soft game means that there are no lions, elephant or other dangerous animals. However giraffes, warthogs, porcupine, sable and other antelope, etc. roam the reserve. We had duiker and porcupine out our sliding door, warthog and sable at breakfast. Great place to relax a few days getting over jet-lag before going into Kruger (like we have done many times) or before visiting a posh big five reserve - because why spend a fortune when you are too jet lagged to appreciate it.

It was Perfect. We loved everything about the place. Staff's attention to detail. A very Intimate place catering to once's individual needs. Food was great

Where the place is suitated is a peaceful safari, it brings soo much serenity and that's exactly what I anticipated about place when making my booking. The private chef at the Villa did an amazing job, every meal be it breakfast and dinner was exceptional......the host at the villa exceeded our expectations with how well he took care of us during our stay, indeed we truly had a wonderful time there.
