The Tauplitzerhof is located in the centre of Tauplitz in the Styrian part of the Salzkammergut, only 250 metres away from the Ski Amadé lifts. Cross country skiing trails start 500 metres away.

All sound-proofed rooms are equipped with traditional Alpine style furniture, and a bathroom with a shower and hairdryer. Most rooms also have a balcony with mountain views.

Beautiful location nestled in the mountains with a stunning view. The owners were so friendly and welcoming that we felt completely at home. THey have a nice toy room that my daughter loved playing in. Great breakfast. We stayed in late September but I can see this would be a great place to stay for wintersports as well. The owners recommended us to a lovely waterfall a short drive (7minutes) and brief hike (15minutes). We will definitely stay here again!

This is an excellent place with friendly staff, and an outstanding chef. Meals are just wonderful. besides, the Hotel is in the absolute centre of Tauplitzalm, with places of interest in both directions. The bed was comfortable (though a bit soft, but we liked it), and the sauna is also cool (I mean, hot!). By the way the place is run by Hungarians, and this does good to it!
