The size and style of the room was really good. The garden is now greener and more dense than in the photos and provides ample shadow for a siesta in one of the hammocks (which could be a bit more comfy ;-)) They provide a kitchen in case you want to cut your expenditures or you are just in the mood for cooking. Speaking of which: The restaurante opposite to the hotel makes good breakfast (huge portions)

Amazing pool, great stylish rooms. Good shower with hot water and good pressure - can be hard to find in CR! Another bonus was the room had a small dehumidifier which helps to eliminate any odours that are common in humid places. Black out curtains made for great sleep ins. Staff is really great, and the restaurant is a draw for locals, both for food and live music.

I stayed for 2 nights as a female solo traveler. I felt very safe. The hotel was clean, staff super friendly especially Pierre (I hope I spelled it correctly), location was perfect for me and the places I wanted to go to, breakfast was included in the price and was very nice.
