The hostess was kind and friendly, offered suggestions on places to see, the room was comfortable we loved sitting at the table and looking at the mountains from our window, the breakfast was delicious and had many choices. We had a great time and in our 9 days on Scotland this is the one place we would visit again.

A warm, family welcome awaits at this traditional West Highland inn/small hotel. Beautifully situated beside Loch Linnhe, Inn at Ardgour is reached via a very short car-ferry trip across the water.

The Inn is located at the ferry landing with a beautiful view looking down the Loch. The accommodations were very comfortable and very adequate. The car ferry is closed until sometime in later June 2023 due to repairs, so coming from Glencoe, you must drive around the Loch to get to the Inn. There is a passenger ferry running, but your car will be on the other shore. Our host was very friendly and offered advice as to what to see in the area. The Glencoe region is spectacular and often overlooked by tourists. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious! The full Scottish breakfast was wonderful as well.

The location was perfect to end a day of hiking the West Highland Way. The Tailrace Inn has a bar on the ground floor and the rooms were above. The rooms were cozy and suited our needs. The bar was the perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking and have a beer (or two) and a good dinner (make a reservation for dinner if you can). As good was the dinner was, the breakfast the next day was the star of the show with porridge as creamy and good as any that we have ever had. The hotel also provided a delicious packed lunch for us to take away for our next day of hiking. This was a wonderful choice for a place to stay in Kinlochleven.

Located in Ballachulish and within 8.2 miles of Loch Linnhe, Clachaig Inn has a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a playground.
