City centre location, short walk to 2 brilliant pubs and excellent take aways. We mostly used the kitchen rather than the living room, took our take away home and enjoyed a relaxed evening and a comfortable nights sleep.

Black mould in a new shower room, clearly not cleaned properly, towel warmer not connected bare wire, dirty bed side table tops, no towels, noisy motorway noise and loud main line train line. Compared to other budget hotels it didn’t fair well

Pleasant staff :) always one of the most important factors! Breakfast was OK, scrambled egg a bit tasteless and sausage not very nice, but it was all made fresh for the time you selected. I had one evening meal there which was the scampi and chips, chips too big really but scampi very nice. Full length mirror inside wardrobe. one of the first things I always look for as I'm attending an event that you dress up for. Location was good, just on the verge of the city centre.
