We had the best stay at Tamasha - booked for 1 night but ended up staying a whole week! Excellent location - right next to City Palace. This is the place toe be!!! Spent a lot of time on the rooftop with incredible views of the lake. Elvia and Rohit are both amazing and are people that I won’t forget and always remember when thinking of India! Wifi worked great, we work online so it was great to get some work done! Elivia even organized a projector for us so we could watch our team play in the rugby world cup on the big screen! She even held a surprise birthday party for me with a cake 1 week before my birthday the night before we left! I love the cozy and intimate feeling of the hostel, it really feels like home!

I really enjoyed my stay. Parvat and his team are superb hosts! The place was super clean, well located, offered great value, and is extremely well run. Parvat goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. He offers great tours that are fairly priced and really expresses his love for the city with great recommendations and suggestions. He is an honorable guy and one of the best hosts I have had during my 5 months traveling around India.

Amazing gorgeous small boutique hotel! The room was huge & had gorgeous views from my bed! Very well furnished & decorated! The rooftop restaurant & bar had wonderful food! The whole staff treated you like family! Our Hosts & owners of this old family home that has been wonderfully restored, the gorgeous Shakiva & her husband Frenie are the ultimate hosts & now friends! I highly, highly recommend this amazing, charming, & romantic property!! I will be back!!!

This was my first solo trip in India, and I’m so grateful I chose The Neem Tree as my hotel. It was perfectly located right in the Old City, but it was a great escape from the hustle and bustle as it was up on a hill. Everyone was very welcoming, and I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. I would highly recommend!

Peaceful evironment with quality heritage accommodations. Incredible meals and extremely helpful staff. The facility is beautiful and well maintained with wonderful views. Great place to relax and take long walks away from the bustle of the city, but close enough that you can take a taxi in to see the sights when you like. Our bedroom was large, very clean, and had great views of the landscape. Birds chirping outside our window and peacocks walking around. Fresh drinking water for tea/coffee provided any time we wanted it. The personal service extended also to when we needed to request a very late check-out due to the bus schedule. They were also so helpful with arranging transportation to the bus departure location as well. You should come here now. Once its excellent reputation becomes more widely known, it will be completely booked out. Highly recommend everything about this lovely heritage home.

To start with, the hosts were so good and went out of their way to make us feel home. The room were so clean. And we got one room at the roof and it was just perfect. The breakfast was so tasty and the location is perfect. Just 250m away from City Palace.

The little garden guest house is a perfect place. The house is beautiful, furnished with attention to detail. The roof terrace offers a great view, the host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious and in a very nice room. Highly recommended!

This small homestay has only a few rooms and is located right on the main tourist area in Udaipur. Our room was huge, very clean, with a large bay window that gave us a view of the tourist traffic and a glimpse of the lake. Color glass inlays that lit up at night made it very romantic. There was always plenty of hot water. Breakfast is served on the terrace with a wonderful view of the lake. You can choose to have Indian or Continental. The person in charge of the homestay was very nice and attentive and prepared the breakfast to our taste. He even went out of his way to prepare food we could take to our train journey as we checked out very early.

    Nice location, you can walk everywhere from here. The building itself is great, there are plenty of common spaces for stay outside of the room and enjoy the beautiful view and sunset. There is a restaurant on the roof top, wide range of food and good prices. Staff were kind and friendly

    The location of the property is in the city center, so everything is easily accessible. Staff is very helpful, polite and accommodating. Everything in the hotel is clean and nice. Beautiful historic building. Spacious, clean and beautiful rooms. Note that you can access the hotel by tuk tuk or by walking since the roads get narrow closer to city center. However, it is not a problem since tuk tuks are available everywhere. :)

    It is a budget hotel not a 3 star hotel as shown in your site. The rooms are big and clean, with comfortable beds. Service needs improvement. Food is average. The breakfast buffet spread is not so good. The restaurant staff Harikishan is too good. Good for budget traveller.
