Winter 2025. Being next to the Lawson was incredibly convenient. The location was sort of noisy due to the Shinkansen/train running. The Onsen was wonderful when visited outside of the busy times. Parking on-site was ¥500 and a one-time in-and-out transaction. However, parking is a bit small and does get full. The Times parking South/Southwest (next to train station) was ¥600 and a good solution in case the on-site gets full. Staff was wonderful. You can use the public transportation pick-up/drop-off area for quick access to the site for dropping off luggage or grabbing something.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel room very clean , spacious enough even for one person. Lots of amenities,i really loved the face and hands washing soap. Free wifi, U-tube and many others. Free parking. They offer also a nice breakfast and laundromat down the hotel. Close to Naoetsu station aquarium, beach , Mos burger shopping center Delmar (has the famous shop Mujirushi & Starbucks inside) very convenient. Loved it ! I really recommend it!

We booked this place because it was close to the ferry to Ogi on Sado island. However, when we arrived we found out that the ferry was cancelled for the next day due to high winds. The owner of the guest house went above and beyond: he called the ferry ticket company and rebooked our tickets to leave from Niigata, and looked up the train schedules to get there. He served us dinner and breakfast on short notice. We were able to travel to the other ferry dock the next day and get to Sado Island because of his help. He was kind, efficient, and spoke enough English to communicate. We will always be grateful.
