Well, there are only packaged croissants for breakfast (two per visitor) since they do not have a restaurant. You can get free coffee down stairs (with small sitting area). We (including 3yo and 4yo) stay a night before flying from Komatsu Airport. We stayed in a tatami (Japanese style) room with futon (mattress and blanket on the floor), which was perfect for small children. Also, it was very close to the airport and the JR station. We arrived by train late at night, being super tired. So we just went to a "conbini " (Seven Eleven inside the JR station) to get bento and rice balls, came back to the hotel, and heated them up with a microwave (one per floor?) for nice dinner. It is very convenient a short 'transitional stay". The price was very reasonable too.

A 5-minute walk from JR Komatsu Train Station’s West Exit, the Komatsu Grand has a public bath, a sauna and a Japanese/Western breakfast buffet. The modern rooms include an LCD TV and free Wi-Fi.

The breakfast was delicious( especially the pain au chocolat and apple pie). Room amenities are also easily available near the check in counter. Extra pillows are free as well! Room was clean and wifi was fast. And around 6-9pm you can get free drinks( alcohol too) on the first floor. Onsen was also really great!

The views from our room were so beautiful, it felt like we were right on the lake. The onsen was top class.
