Boasting a prime location within the castle walls, this century-old restored mansion features a tranquil courtyard and charming accommodation with views over the castle. Great location inside the castle walls and close to hundreds of cafes and eating places. Easy walking distance to town and the lake. Staff were exceptional..always cheerful and willing to help. Changed breakfast when they realised we weren't eating the bread and sweet foods and provided fresh fruit, yoghurt salad and eggs instead. Highly recommend Hotel Kastro.

It was a clean and comfortable room, easy to access with the codes and really central. We had a slight issue with the room but the owner sorted it out right away and was really helpful!

Warm and welcoming host, very clean and fresh amenities, nice welcome package (cosmetics, welcome basket..) and overall beautiful place. Highly recommended!

Sophia, Jenny, Aggeliki & a few I didn’t get the names of you were all amazing and so patient with a large group of us. Couldn’t be more helpful with service whether cleaning the rooms, serving drinks, offering a coffee in the morning, calling for taxi’s.. and that’s without mentioning the beautiful views and modern, spotless rooms. Can’t recommend enough thank you all and hopefully see you soon.

(Within walking distance of the beach, also great for exploring the surroundings (ferry from Igumenitsa to Corfu, river Acheron, Parga, etc). Very kind and helpful staff. Would return here.

Excellent location one minute walk from the square under the plane tree. Good choice of restaurants Superb greek breakfast. Truly superb I really enjoyed my stay. So will you.. Top tip on how to get there by car. When you arrive at.monodendri, take the small fork to the right. Drive about 1km. The road gets a bit narrower and then turns to cobblestones. After a slight incline about 100 metres, there are two large car parks. You cant drive closer to the hotel

Our stay at Maria Resort was absolutely wonderful! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The room was spotless and had a lovely balcony with breathtaking sea views. We loved ending each day with a delicious cocktail by the pool, watching the sunset. It was a short and refreshing walk to the charming old town and beaches, perfect for working off all the delicious food we enjoyed. We loved it so much that we decided to extend our stay by another day. We highly recommend Maria Resort and can’t wait to return for a longer visit.
