It was nice to grab a little bottle of red wine at the end of the day. The continental style breakfast was lovely and I appreciated the cooked eggs! Excellent coffee and fruit juices. This was my first time in the Netherlands and therefore I had not been to Hilversum before. I relied on taxis to take me to my son's house in South Hilversum and to the train station, but I'm sure in the spring or summer I could have walked or cycled across town. The location is in a beautiful area close to a large forest/park area which I hope to explore when I come back in the summer.
