Pods we're very nice good size room, Got everthing you need to keep you happy , We had a tent in the next camp site but due to high winds and rain like neva seen before we booked the pod at 8 the Friday and it was ready by half past, brilliant member of staff she a life saver deffo book again

I always go to Skye for my birthday for a few days and had never been to the Elgol part of the island. I know the island and the climate quite well so was expecting pretty much anything and everything. I booked this because of the view and it absolutely did not disappoint! The day of my birthday was gloriously sunny and I sat with a lovely glass of chilled champagne, looking at that view in the afternoon. It is absolutely idyllic and even the word perfect isn't good enough. The bed was so comfortable I slept a FULL 8 hours uninterrupted and then had coffee in bed with that view too. The shower was fabulous and the towels were spot on. The little toilet with the ever-so-cute wash hand basin was like stepping into a little bit of Hobbiton haha. So quirky and wonderful. Dishwasher was handy on the last day when you are rushing to check out The day after my birthday was quite stormy so lighting the fire and enjoying the rest of my champagne in the cosy atmospheric cabin was just absolutely perfect. Sunshine or storm I couldn't fault any part of it. The finishing bit of "polish" on the whole thing was the little hip flask of whisky which I suspect was Talisker (which I happen to love) that was there on arrival was the cherry on top of the cake so to speak. This place hasn't been open that long for bookings relatively speaking but it is already booked up for most of the year and you can absolutely see why. So I found a slot in the summer where there's the obvious more daylight hours and sunsets and booked again it was so good. It really is that lovely!!!

Great location and walk to the town from the house. Wood fired tub was a nice experience. Such a well out tiny home, family of 4 was very comfortable!

Fantastic views, great for bird watching and stargazing. The host event left some fresh eggs for us for breakfast. He is very friendly, warm and fun - we loved chatting to him. The location is great and close to both the beach and the waterfall hike/secret library. We'll be back!

Bowersburn cottage is a very comfortable place to stay in the lovely of Kinnesswood. It was equipped with everything I needed. Like others, I loved the window seat. A check of the 'before' photos on display demonstrates the extraordinary transformation that has taken place here. I loved the area, and managed to walk part of the heritage trail around the Loch. I also visited Lochleven castle, located on an island in the Loch. The area is a friendly one, and I had a number of chats with people I encountered while out walking. The Scottish Gliding Centre is nearby, and one afternoon there were 3 gliders flying above the village. I visited Leven's Larder several times, eating at the cafe and stocking up on provisions there. Heather was a wonderful host and very responsive.
