Please avoid them and book everything through an authorized place, like a hotel. We stayed one night at Overnight Camp Erg Chebbi, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. The location is breathtaking—right in the heart of the dunes. We arrived by camel ride at sunset, which was magical. The tents were clean, cozy, and surprisingly well-equipped, with comfortable beds and a private bathroom. Dinner was delicious, and the Berber music by the fire added a special touch to the night. In the morning, we watched the sunrise over the dunes—an unforgettable sight. Everything was perfectly organized, and the calm, peaceful atmosphere made it feel like a dream. Our overnight camping experience at Overnight Camp Erg Chebbi was absolutely wonderful! The camp is just magically set amidst the golden dunes of Merzouga and is simply breathtaking to look at and be in. The tents were warm, clean, and very comfortable with en-suite bathrooms and all the facilities we needed to have a nice stay. The sunset camel ride over the dunes was magical, and the local meal at the camp was great and freshly prepared. In the late afternoon, we enjoyed live Berber music around the campfire under a night sky—a memory that will last forever! The staff were all friendly, nice, and treated us like part of their family.
