With a multitude of cafes, souvenir shops and bars along the beach strip, Pentai Cenang is a lively spot where travellers can relax by the emerald-blue waters, or enjoy a range of activities like shopping and bar hopping.

I loved my stay at Rebak, it was absolutely mesmerizing!

10 July 2023

I loved my stay at Rebak, it was absolutely mesmerizing! Out of 4 days, we stayed at the resort 2 full days, enjoyed the beach, swimming pool and just soaked in the calm and beauty around. Remainder days we explored the cable car at Oriental village. It was a good experience as well. The restaurant in oriental village served absolutely lip-smacking Indian food. Next day, we went to Dataran Lang - Eagle Square located near Kuah Jetty, Maha Tower and Resorts world, where we took the Tropical Charters Sunset Cruise - The 3 hour sail is absolutely mind blowing, just an out of world experience! Must must try! The Jetty at the Rebak and Cenang terminal is just flawless, readily available every 30 mins, it helps you get around Langkawi main town easily. Food at the restaurant was great! Do try their steam pot dinner. Also, they organize nature`s trail every Sunday morning 8 am, Do not miss this experience! To go around the city, main town, use GRAB! best way to commute - pretty convenient. Rebak island is absolutely chef`s kiss! Would love to revisit again and just unwind!

My short stay in Langkawi was in this place and it was a nice experience all in all. The lively Chenang Walk, the many hotels on the beach, the private villas to rent nearby. I could spend my whole vacation in than place and not complain.

Wonderful place for lovable people, who like white sand beach and tropical experience. lot of types of foods, water activities, so many types of hotels and choices, most of the best feeling was far away from your busy working. and calming your mind. feel peace.

Great Beach.

Great Beach. Mix of quiet areas and busier watersports areas. Plenty of restaurants/bars of varying price. Location is fantastic. Great for the evening, abundance of family friendly fire shows.

A nice, clean and long beach with white sand, better than beaches in Bali because it's cleaner and is not filled with stalls or people trying to sell stuff. It's too hot to go to the beach and swim during the day, hence we only go after 6.30pm. A beautiful beach to do your walk and watch the sunset from 7pm. We stayed too long there (10 days). Should have stayed 4 days. The food truck market in Pantai Cenang is a must for yummy, cheap dinner and non-alcoholic drinks. You can get fried rice/noodles for MYR10 and something a little fancy for MYR15 :)

I liked Pantai Cenang, lots of places to eat, beach nice, has trees for shade. Beach comes alive at night. The street markets are small but pleasant. The Ah XI fruit shop is simply the best waffles and juices made lovingly by mother and daughter, the best I had on the island. Grab taxi is the best way to get around. Make sure you take enough cash as the atm’s did not like my Visa cards!!
