South Beach
0.4 miles from downtown
“SoBe” is the essence of Miami Beach, with buff bodies, flashy cars and a whole lot of hedonism. Work on that tan while sipping a boozy slushie from Wet Willie’s. Recharge your disco batteries at the Botanical Gardens before heading to buzzing Española Way for dinner on the patio. Then party like it’s 1999 with SoBe’s high rollers at LIV or Mokai.

Surfside

Good, clean living. Away from South Beach’s 24-hour party people, happy families cavort along Surfside’s Art Deco promenade. Savor mamma’s Italian pizza at Café Ragazzi, then slurp on a cool froyo (frozen yogurt) from Serendipity. Don’t miss the third Thursday of each month, when there’s wholesome street food and a family-friendly party vibe.

Sun, sea and sand – the three key ingredients for a perfect retirement. Bal Harbour’s a quiet neighborhood where silver haired out-of-towners come to enjoy the good life. And what better place to do it? Shiny, happy people bask in the Floridian rays, cruise on boats or browse snazzy knitwear at Bal Harbour Shops Mall. Soak up the life of leisure!

An island city located off the coast of Florida, Miami Beach offers endless stretches of sand, palm-lined promenades and art deco architecture. The tropical locale boasts luxurious oceanfront resorts, unbeatable nightlife and some of the prettiest beaches in the United States – from lively spots in the south to peaceful settings in the north.
Arguably one of the world’s most popular holiday destinations, Miami Beach’s South Beach paints a pretty picture – the turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean skirting its white shores and bright lifeguard stands adding pops of colour. For incredible sunset views, head to the South Pointe Park Pier, located on the southernmost tip of the island. The playgrounds, volleyball courts and fitness equipment at Lummus Park provide plenty of opportunities to get active, while the beach running alongside is perfect for soaking up the sun. If you’re after a more peaceful retreat, Mid-Beach and North Beach offer lots of secluded palm-shaded spots to unwind.
Miami Beach is home to the world’s largest collection of art deco buildings, and a tour of the Art Deco Historic District will introduce you to this modern architectural style. You can start at Ocean Drive – one of the city’s most famous streets – lined with pastel-painted hotels that take on a neon glow at night. The strip is also home to the Versace Mansion, once the opulent home of the fashion icon. For trendy shopping and dining options, you can take a stroll along the pedestrian promenade of Lincoln Road.

I stayed at South beach rooms and hostel In Miami Beach at 9th street in Washington Avenue. On my arrival, I was well received from the receptionist, he was very friendly and helpful. We could feel straight away the Latino vibes in the hostel, at the entrance, amazing! 🤩 During my breakfast each single day I was staying there, I was well taken care from Gladys Peña. She was adorable, very kind, funny and very friendly person. She was always there when I needed her for anything, she made me feel at home and made my holidays longer 😃. Gladys Peña had demonstrated a customer service with extra miles. The other person impressed me too was Max, the maintenance guy. Very friendly, helpful, such a funny and kind staff. The both taught me on my Spanish language and corrected me all the time to improve. Thanks to them, to have made my stay amazing and comfortable in the hostel with full of fun 🤩 and a lot of happiness also with some other staff. But they were my favourite staff in the hostel. Also, with nice guests I had a wonderful time in the hostel 😆. Miami Beach had everything we need for, for vacations. Weather and atmosphere! Marvellous 🤩 can’t have better place.

I like south beach, have been about 8 times. This hotel was the worst location and highest price Ive ever paid. It was ok, although I should have demanded soap for the room and it would have been nice if I was somehow compensated for someone pulling the fire alarm and the police there around 3am-5am... It was too basic for me, especially for the price. It seemed a fairly new decent renovation, internet and the bed were fine...
Beach was beautiful!

Beach was beautiful! But unfortunately our cars was towed an paid a hefty fine! Ruined our vacation. Make the effort to find a public parking do not park in a plaza across or any business to go to the beach literally across the street from the beach purchased some towels for the beach and walked across for 1 hour and our cars was gone. They're watching the lot. So therefore $700 later! Yep don't risk it. It's one thing they have your car but they're rude as hell and don't give a damn.

Very beautiful beaches, not so crowded and nice weather (May,23). A lot of different restaurants, clubs and bars to choose from. It is a very expensive place, so be prepared to spend more many than in Miami overall. We visited more of the seashore area near South Pointe and the north, during the day and night. To the north we found more south american cousine. Overall, it was worth the trip, the sea water was really nice too.

I did not like that no one mentioned that there is no parking anywhere even at out hotel. I asked that no one enter the room and yet staff did and now my wallet went missing. I was told "well no one turned in anything." when we call, of course no one did because it was stolen!!!
