Downtown Miami
In downtown
Before asking what you can do downtown, ask what downtown can do for you. Flow your way through a free yoga class in Bayfront Park, or drop by a farmer’s market and get yourself some of the world’s juiciest oranges. You can also catch a concert at the AmericanAirlines Arena, or practice your Spanglish by ordering a taste-bud satisfying Cuban sandwich.

Coconut Grove
4 miles from downtown
Coconut Grove – the name brings up images of afternoons laying in a hammock, sipping juice under palm trees. Sounds nice, right? Add a ton of University of Miami students, some laid-back artists, a few Florida-fresh markets, some banyan trees, and you’ve got this place down. Head to LoKal and try the sinful combo of a burger between two donuts!

Brickell
0.6 miles from downtown
Brickell is Miami’s only district where ties outsell swimsuits. The office scene is one of breezy board meetings, where high rollers in pin-stripe suits sip a few too many espressos. After hours, follow the 9-5ers to happy hour at M-Bar and treat yourself to your favorite cocktail, served with a side of stunning cityscape views.

Situated on Florida’s south-east coastline, Miami is one of the United States’ most established cultural hotspots. Renowned for its white-sand beaches, art deco establishments and thriving Cuban district, the city combines both US and Latin influence to offer a truly unique American experience.
Once home to the Tequesta tribe, Miami’s colonial years saw the region shift between both British and Spanish governance before modern Miami was founded in 1896. Then known as ‘Biscayne Bay Country’, the city’s founder, a citrus grower by the name of Julia Tuttle welcomed foreign immigration, leading to Miami’s large Cuban and Caribbean diaspora that has shaped much of the city’s modern culture and lifestyle.
If you’re going to do one thing while in Miami, make sure you visit South Beach – an area home to beautiful restaurants and art deco buildings. All your shopping needs are covered at the Aventura Mall, Design district, Bayside MarketPlace and Wynwood, while you’ll find world-renowned super clubs in Downtown Miami. For history, visit the Vizcaya Museum and for nature, take a day-tour to Florida’s Everglades National Park.
While Miami provides all the traditional American food staples, some of its best can be found in the Cuban district, where you’ll find bars serving ice-cold margaritas and seafood restaurants like the famous La Camaronera. The search for Miami's best key lime pie is ongoing, but nobody makes it fresher than Joe’s Stone Crab, located in Miami Beach.

The room the bathroom housekeeping

The room the bathroom housekeeping The bathroom was so filthy especially the tub. It was so dirty it had rings around the tub it look like it was never cleaned in years. Nasty I told the front desk about cleaning the tub AAJ said that for another company. Antonio and Jan was okay But AAJ seem like she had attitude. Never would stay in this hotel room. The shower was dripping water all day and night nerve reckon. Also we kept getting papers from different restaurant and our door. I would not recommend this hotels to my family or friends.
Very nice Hotel.

Very nice Hotel. Clean, comfortable and well managed. Good breakfast in the lobby. My only complaint was that parking was valet only which meant it would cost you just to access your car. On the bright side our car was safe. We would stay here again if in Miami

“It’s a sunny city for shady people” as they say haha. Well I do love it though. The liveliness is great. The food is incredible. Beaches are beautiful and the weather is almost always perfect. Always something to do and so many different little areas. The possibilities are endless.

Miami is indeed a hustling and bustling city with plenty to do and see. Though staying in Brickell (Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Miami) we spent most of our time at Miami Beach. The choice of restaurants there is excellent with toppers like The Local House, The Diner and of course an unforgettable dining experience at Gianni’s Villa. Also in Brickell we definitely enjoyed dining several times at North Italia with superb service. Hard Rock Café was a welcome intermezzo between the boat tours on Biscayne Blvd. (Millionaire’s Row Cruise and the Sightseeing Speedboat Tour). Traffic is quite dense at times but then again not that big of a surprise. On the positive side, there is ample parking available and we noticed that public transport (Metro-bus/rail/mover) seem to run smoothly. It is also an ideal location to venture out into the Everglades (Everglades Safari Park, Miami) or the Keys for the day! All in all a most enjoyable Miami visit.

Miami is a great American city on the Caribbean coast with its tropical characteristics (warm weather, sandy beaches). It is a perfect destination for those who want to experience a tropical climate in the United States and boasts a multiplicity and melting pot of various caribbean races and culture (Cubans, Haitians, Jamaicans, Latin American etc). The food is varied, and there are alot of beautiful hotels, shopping areas, malls etc. It also boasts alot of Cruise ports for those who want to experience an Eastern Caribbean Cruise or to Central America (Mexico, Honduras, Belize etc). Finally, its airport is the gateway to Latin America. Me gusta Miami.

Miami is a great place to have lots of fun and enjoy the beach. However, the rainy season is in the summer months so expect lots of sun, heat, and rain! It is also not budget-friendly. Going out for drinks can be very expensive, as it is going to restaurants. However, Miami life is something to experience at least once in a lifetime. It has lots of different activities, ranging from exploring nature to party life. Highly recommend!
