Casa Independente is located a very short drive outside of Macas, in a beautiful, green countryside area. The 3 bedroom house is very secure, surrounded by a lovely yard, and there is a small village with stores nearby. The host, Isabella, is friendly, kind, helpful, and a great guide for a day trip to a local Shuar community. Isabella quickly became a friend, rather than a host. This is a lovely place to stay to explore the area around Macas!
