Fantastic Feb 2025 week at Ludgate cottage. This was actually our 2nd stay within the last 12 months. Location is perfect with access straight onto the moors near to Haytor offering lots of walks in different directions. Would recommend the walk between Haytor and Hound Tor. Cottage is well equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. I fully expect we will return in the future. Thank you for a lovely week.

The location was perfect for quiet getaway for family. Kids loved the hot tub. Weather was great. Pub was 25 mins walk through woods and small quiet road. Easy and pleasent (take a torch !). Great views and hiking oppurtunities

The immediate location of the cabin in the field it is in is very tranquil and pretty and the river runs to the rear and is pleasant to hear with the windows open. We saw lots of different bird species, squirrels and a couple of stoats. The cabin is well appointed and pleasant, the towels and bed linen are laundered to a good standard. We had some great trips out to Dartmoor prison, Teignmouth, Exeter and Plymouth.
