The design and decoration was was special, which gave it a real holiday feeling! There is absolutely everything you need and more, also towels and equipment for the beach etc. Konstantinos is a very attentive host. Very easy to reach, park and go to nearby beaches and tavernas. The jacuzzi was a nice plus although rather full with chlorine.

The view was to die for. We drove to a lot of places daily but always felt like going "home" because we felt so good there. It is very quiet but a short drive takes you down to a lot of good restaurants. Also there is a lot to do in the area.

We stayed in the Artemis villa which has 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped to cook the odd meal, great when you have a toddler! The beach is about 4 min walk away (with a toddler) and shared with the Hotel and other guest houses nearby. These villas are family owned and run. It is genuinely a lovely place to stay and Dimitris, Marianna and Andonis went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. Thank you for the Lego, rocking horse and cheese pie!

There is private beach, in a bay, very nice and clean, with sun umbrellas and beach beds free of charge. And a beach bar. You can walk about 15-20 mins to the village for restaurants and supermarkets. A bus stop is just at the entrance of the hotel (regional buses, to and Heraklion).
