The property is beautiful ! The gardens as well designed, and beautifully maintained. The flowers are so pretty and colorful The stone houses are well designed, and rustic. There are so many details within the home, and you can see they were built with love for their land and surroundings. I love that each home has a pop of colour in the appliances. We enjoyed cooking breakfast in the kitchen, and sitting on the balconies, enjoying the views and also such beautiful flowers. There is shade available on the bottom balcony which was well appreciated in the heat! The aircondtioning is excellent,and the stone made home remained cool after the ac was turned off. The area itself is so peaceful. We slept beautifully ! The owner Eleni is charming, helpful and kind. I was touched by how proud she was of the town that she grew up in.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. It was amazing. In my opinion it has the absolute best location. It’s very close to anything you need. You can walk to restaurants, markets, and beaches within minutes. But it’s situated just perfectly to be extremely peaceful and quiet at night and in the morning. You’ll love having coffee on your own patio in the morning. The view is spectacular. This is a home away from home. A goose will waddle by and greet you every morning. I call him Gary. The apt is clean, cozy, and modern. Very cute!!! The bed was very comfortable. I slept like a child. The kitchen is fully functional and very nice. I hit the local supermarket and bought things for breakfast. There are several produce markets in town. The fruit is out of this world. All local. Everything you eat is local. When you dine be prepared for a slow chill experience. Every place in Greece is like this. Be patient or speak up politely and let them know what and how you want it. Try Inodion and Limani. Superb food and service. Tell them Erik sent you. lol. Great place to rent a scooter. I highly recommend you do!!! Go out and see Greece. Ride through the mountains, visit other beaches and villages outside of Sitia. Xerokampos beach is heaven. Explore! The property management was helpful with my questions. The owners are the nicest people ever! Very honest! You get what you pay for here. I had the time of my life. I just got home and I’m very sad. I feel like I left my heart there. You will fall in love with this apt. It was worth every penny and I felt it was a good value. Hope you visit and have the time I had. Don’t go for less than two full weeks. Trust me.

Every thing! The view is amazing, the pool is exactly in the right measures and very clean. the pool house is well equipped for outdoor cooking and relaxing . The indoor is beautiful also the kitchen was well equipped and Xenia the host was very helpful and pleasant.

    The villa is perfect. It’s clean and beautiful, safe, has everything a family might need. The host is very welcoming. The area is stunning and full of great beaches and mountain areas to visit. The nearest town is 5 mins drive away and has nice restaurants and supermarkets. We highly recommend this place!

    This is the second time we have stayed at Castello del Mare. We absolutely love the villa as well as Xerokampos. The location of the villa is the best in Xerokampos. Right on the beach and close to some lovely beach front tavernas. The villa is very well furnished with everything you need and a lovely new bathroom since our previous stay. Manolis and Mrs Fonteini are lovely hosts and very responsive. The place was spotless and cleaned regularly. We will be back again!

    First class accommodation with attentive hosts. Villa was fully equipped with all requirements to ensure our stay was hassle free. Situated in Olive grove and a few minutes walk to lovely beach. Other beautiful beaches within a couple of minutes drive. Tavernas also within walking distance. Hosts Christanthi and Georgios were fantastic with info on area and gifts of their produce grown on their land. Xerokampos is a quiet village with stunning non commercial beaches and crowd free. Total relaxation
