Duomo Messina is 11 km from the holiday home, while University of Messina is 12 km away. The nearest airport is Reggio di Calabria Tito Minniti Airport, 36 km from La casa tra i laghi.

Arrival - I gave a wrong (later) time of arrival, so noone was there. I called and in less then 15min came the owner. Apartment was very clean. On both floors are bathrooms and double beds. The fridge was full with breakfast, drinks, ice cream. I did not look the location in advance and by the photos, I felt a little bit missleaded. I thought the property is on the main lake, but it is on the chanel and there is no access to it. I though they have a panorama view from the house to the lake. My mistake. The outdoor space is big enogh and has an outdoor shower and furniture.

The property is 5 star, bed is extremely comfortable and the owners made our stay very welcoming. Sweet people even if they speak only Italian. Translate made our conversation easier. Pictures from website doesn’t do it any justice. It’s very close to the beach , just cross the road . Was a great choice for sure and was worth every penny. You had all the facilities in that place .

Such a beautiful view of the sea and your own private beach to enjoy. Are only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. One of our favorite stays in all of Sicily.

    Het uitzicht is fenomenaal! Het is echt genieten met alle faciliteiten op de accommodatie. We hadden langer willen blijven. We missen het uitzicht nu al.

    The host speaks almost perfect English. The location is between central city cathedral and harbor. The ferry to both Villa San Giovanni (Blue Ferry) and Reggio di Calabria (Liberty Lines) are both almost under the window, and train station is a further 3 minutes' walking away. The balcony opens to the harbor with good view. Just downstairs is a pizza restaurant favored by locals (I eat with many locals here, and it is the low season for tourism). The restaurant is both clean and bright.

    The villa is in a very beautiful location and has very nice finishes. We liked how close, yet somehow far, it is from civilization. You can disconnect yet if you need something, the shops are close to nearby. The views from inside our room were picturesque, especially the volcanoes out at the sea. The food at the restaurant was also very good and the host was very friendly.
