“Location: The hotel is right on the beach, which makes the views absolutely fantastic, especially from the breakfast room. The nearby villages are nice and have good dining options. Rooms: Our room was very clean and the bed super comfortable (2x2 mattress). Staff: Helpful and nice. Parking: Parking was free, although during the weekend it was full and we had to park outside. Still, it was not a huge problem as there is generally enough parking close by.”
“This hotel is directly on the Camino if you are walking the coastal route. It is on the man in road but just a short walk into the village. The restaurant beside the hotel does a great pilgrim meal. We left early in the morning so the hotel provided us with a take away breakfast of roll, fruit, juice etc the night before.”
“Typical Portuguese home with plenty of bedrooms and beds. Set in very rural village has 2 single beds in loft with own bathroom, 4 singles in dorm room with own toilet and main double bedroom. Owner was very helpful. ”
“Although the hotel was not busy when we visited, our evening meal in the restaurant and the service were excellent. The buffet breakfast had lots of choice though there were no hot options. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful, especially when we decided to check out one day early because of the inconvenient location. If you just want to stay on the Ofir peninsula, there are some nice Atlantic coast beach walks and a very pleasant wildlife-viewing boardwalk connecting the hotel area to the village of Fao about 2 km away.”
