Maria, Pavli and the whole family were very kind and showed us great hospitality. They gave us fruits upon arrival and even offered that we join them for dinner. The apartment was big and brand new. It was clean and contained everything we needed for out stay. It's the best place we've been to as of yet, especially for that price. I highly recommend that you stay here! P.S they have 2 cute dogs, Monica and Beam. Make sure to give them a pet.

The place is really amazing and is located at great proximity to the attractions of the Algarve region. It was super clean, spacious and obviously recently renovated with all the things inside feeling new and well-maintained with a bunch of utensils in the kitchen and a few extra light blankets to feel cozy in the evening on the terrace. The terrace itself is another bonus which is great for spending time during the hours of rest. It is easy to park closely on the nearby street. The communication with the owners was smooth and clear, the welcome snacks and water were a nice touch. The place is also really quiet and we had a very good sleep. Definitely recommended for 3-4 people

Judice Fialho House, hotel in Lagoa

Ideally situated in the heart of Portimão, Judice Fialho House is a recently renovated villa, offering free WiFi and parking on-site. This villa offers accommodation with a patio.

The owner was welcoming and was very responsive to messages.The house was beautifully renovated, with lots of original features but also all the modern features we needed. Great shower, lots of charging sockets, really effective air conditioning in all the rooms, and a large modern television. There was also another television in one of the bedrooms. The outside kitchen and dining area were perfect for relaxed evenings. The location of the house was within easy walking distance from the train station. We didn't hire a car during our stay, so used the train to travel to nearby lagos on one of the days. The beaches are walkable, but were too far for us to walk in the heat. The buses were regular, and the beaches were easily accessible by bus. The river was just at the bottom of the road. There were several outdoor eating places there, and it was a nice place to stroll in the evening. It was a short walk along the waterfront to the museum where we caught the water taxi across to Ferragudo. (I would definitely recommend visiting Ferragudo. It is a very pretty village with some nice eating places and beaches). There are also lots of boat trips to other destinations, including the benagil caves, leaving from the waterfront near to the museum.

Maria is the sweetest host, she does everything to make you feel at home. The house is spacious and perfect located, close to the beaches with a nice garden. Praia Grande is nice. We love Ferragudo, it's perfect located to make day trips around the beautiful area. We would definitely come back another holiday. Muito obrigada Maria

    The pool was fantastic, good size and very clean. The villa is very spacious, and the location is great, 5-8 minutes drive to most of the beaches and yet secluded and quiet. There is a daily cleaning service which was nice. There was good air conditioning in every room and good quality wifi.

    Cleanliness and value. We rented car and within 8 min drive u are in Carvoeiro great restaurants shops. Aldi 5 mins away by car & Apolonia supermarket next Aldi . Loads of towels for both bathroom and pool. Sun loungers super luxurious and hammock fab. Interior house very well laid out .

    I was welcomed very nicely (in French) and received a tour of the property as well as some explanations on dinner or excursion possibilities in the area. The house is an old Portuguese villa hidden behind a big brown door. The house being old gave it super charm, the patio is really nice and there are some seating corners where you can relax. The 'trust' bar is also very nice feature and had very democratic prices. I really had a nice 1 day stay here and was sad I didn't stay longer.

    Villa Saudade was amazing! The owners thought of everything, even down to a welcome pack which made such a difference for our late arrival. The owners were so accommodating pre-arrival and during our stay. Local facilities such as shops, beach, restaurants and attractions very close.

    We plainly loved everything! It is an architectural gem! The design of the house is incredible, everything is beautiful and thoughtfully decorated. It was a luxurious experience missing nothing. We were warmly welcomed by the manager and treated with little complimentary gifts (fruits, bread, etc).

    Absolutely incredible villa and such lovely hosts. location isn’t far from the beach as long as you have a car. so quiet and peaceful, the breakfasts were also amazing - the best I’ve ever had on a holiday and all from scratch. would definitely recommend and return
