Beautiful setting above Ponte da Barca with panoramic view from the backyard. Host is welcoming. Host & family live on the property which is a working farm. He gifted us with a bottle made from the farm's vineyard. Quiet and private. Property is next to a monastery. About 10-12 minute drive to the center of Ponte da Barca for many restaurant choices. Very chic & efficient remodel of historic building. Well equipped efficiency kitchen. Host provides foods for DIY breakfast.

The hospitality was amazing. Senhora Isabela, the host, helped out with an uncomfortable situation that happend. i have booked the property on a wrong day and she did her best so we can come and enjoy our day. The house is very beautiful and big to stay with friends and family, it is clean and has all neccessary equipment. You will also have an amazing view to the mountains and nature, opening from the terrace

Raul is a great host and his house is newly remodeled, well equiped and very comfortable. Raul allowed us to check-in a little early, met us at the house to show us around, provided us with restaurant and activity recommendations for Arcos de Valdevez and was great at communicating whenever we had any questions. I highly recommend this location for any length of stay - we stayed only two days but the area is so full of things to do I think we'll back for a longer stay next year.

    Host is top class. Friendly, welcoming and informative and with excellent english language. The property is spacious, well appointed and of quality construction. The views from the terrace are far ranging over the village and hills with fruit trees and vineyard in the foreground. The property is within easy driving range of Ponte da Barca, the pretty local town which has a great range of shops, restaurants and cafes. The Peneda-Gerês National Park is also accessible easily by car with limitless opportunities for hiking, etc.
