Very easy drive into town and a few close restaurants nearby. Staff was incredible very helpful and always there if you need them. Also breakfast was phenomenal and cooked to order and delivered to your table in backyard that faves pool. extremely clean and comfortable beds.

Beautiful layout and lovely villas. Good location, 10 mins to town. Great trip to the saraquipi river for rafting. Lovely pools, thermal pools, bars etc not crowded and family friendly. Jefferson was super helpful and lovely.
A+ in all categories!!! We came back a second night at the end of our trip because we were very happy with everything about Villas De La Colina. We'll definitely return in the near future. p.s. I made a mistake on my prior review stating I wish they had a pool. I didn't realize there was a pool on the property at check in, and we left early the next morning. THEY DO HAVE A POOL, A BEAUTIFUL POOL!! : )
The servers and kitchen staff were very pleasant and efficient. The food portions were generous and food was good. The views were great. The structures of the villas, meeting rooms and restaurant provided a lot of opportunities to enjoy the view. The hotel was probably very nice when it was built. There is a lot of potential.

The villas were really nice and comfortable. Pros: Excellent stay, Wonderful staff, Great Restaurant. Cons: Location is pretty far from town making transportation costly to get around. Suggestion: Have a car when staying at the location.
Tranquil setting at the quieter end of town but still close enough to walk to restaurants and shops. Beautiful gardens and pool area. Detached villas nicely decorated and very spacious. Each with their own private patio area. Super friendly and helpful staff too!!
All of the amenities were brand new! Shower and bathroom facilities were clean and new, bed and bedroom linens were comfortable and fresh, air conditioning and fan were refreshing, outdoor kitchen was new, couches were comfortable. Honestly, the best bang for the buck when it comes to the villas during our stay in Costa Rica. Grocery store is 200mts down the road.
The property was very nice, lots of green grass and spectacular flowers and plants. The units all face Arenal and they are arranged for privacy. The location is great as there are restaurants close by and hot pools are a short drive away. Booking activities through the hotel was easy and the front desk suggested lots to do in the area. We really enjoyed our stay at Villas Vilma.
