These modern, 2-bedroom cottages are located 3 km from Rovaniemi City Centre and Train Station. Ounasvaara Ski Resort is 500 metres away. Each features a private sauna, fireplace and washing machine with dryer. I stayed with my brother for three night in the chalet. It is located in the middle of the forest but only 12min away by car from the center of Rovaniemi. The chalet is beautiful and perfectly equipped for the cold days in Lapland. The fireplace and the sauna make the experience unique and cozy. The hosts at Safartica replied promptly to all our questions and check-in and check-out were very easy and accommodated to our needs (we were arriving very late and leaving very early). Overall an amazing and relaxed stay, and considering the prices of other hotels in the are, very reasonable.

The Science Center Pilke is within 1.5 km of the holiday home. We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The apartment was extremely clean, cozy and well equipped. The neighborhood was very calm and quiet. You'll surely feel the peacefulness and tranquility by the sound of nature around you. We absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone travelling in Rovianemi, we would love to stay here again.

The holiday home is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as skiing and cycling. My friend and I felt super-welcomed. The location by the lake was wonderful. House very comfortable. Perfect spot to admire nature and to see some auroras. Very peaceful.

Shared BBQ facilities are found in a wooden tipi hut, which has an open fireplace. There is also a glass roofed Scandinavian style restaurant open from September until April. Our driver from the airport loaded our luggage onto a sledge, and a staff member pushed it to our glass igloo and showed us around the place. We had fantastic views and a wonderful private hot tub. The igloo was warm and comfortable. Breakfasts and dinner in the restaurant were delicious.
