The house has everything you need for a short or long stay and Nikos was very kind in stocking the fridge very generously on arrival - bread, meat, cheese, wine, beer, honey, water, butter, coffee, etc We were picked up from the port on arrival by Nikos (and Nikos 2 🙂) And Pedi is lovely!

This is a classic Symiot merchant’s house just off the kali strata. It’s exactly halfway between yialo/the harbour and chorio/the village meaning it’s perfectly located for both. The house is simply furnished, but this allows you to appreciate the architecture, the space, the view, etc. We loved it and were very comfortable. We had a few meals/all drinks/coffee on our balcony. The kitchen is basic, but useful for fry-ups (we found the best mushrooms and herbs in the market), omelette, French toast etc, when we wanted a break from eating out. and breakfasts (yoghurt, fruit, muesli, etc). The beds were really comfortable and we enjoyed the space - by Greek standards, this is very spacious living with high ceilings etc. and aircon/heating in bedrooms was excellent.
