All was great, we are very happy of our choice!

The location is great, right on the waterfront, and the penultimate house on that side of the bay, so nice and quiet, plus it means that the walk to St Nokolas beach is only 10 minutes. The house has everything you need for a short or long stay and Nikos was very kind in stocking the fridge very generously on arrival - bread, meat, cheese, wine, beer, honey, water, butter, coffee, etc We were picked up from the port on arrival by Nikos (and Nikos 2 🙂) And Pedi is lovely!

Great location - a few steps away from Kali Strata. Filippos & Renee were great hosts - arranging for a taxi to pick us up from the port and their cost and sending us recommendations. The accomodation itself with comfortable with a large kitchen and lounge. Good air conditioning and Filippos & Renee provided high quality fans for both of the bedrooms.

Staying at this unforgettable holiday rental in Symi was enchanting —it's like going to a fabulous Greek folk museum and then being able to stay the night! The property perches near the highest point of Mavrovouni Hill offering sweeping panoramic views that are simply breathtaking. The terrace became our favorite spot: morning light softly illuminating the harbour and sunset painting the hills in gold—it felt like living a postcard. From the moment we booked, communication with the owner was exceptional. They were warm, responsive, and full of helpful local recommendations—true hospitality that made us feel welcomed and truly taken care of. Inside, the house overflows with original Greek character. Every room is infused with traditional details and curated curios—handmade ceramics, vintage textiles, local artefacts. The curation feels intentional and lovingly arranged, offering a sense of authenticity rarely found in rentals. The location is unbeatable—nestled above the charming town, it's peaceful yet within easy walking distance to tavernas, shops, and scenic paths. In short, this is so much more than a place to stay—it’s an immersive, soulful Greek experience with all the comforts of home.

Galini & Serena Apartments is gelegen op 18 minuten lopen van Nos-strand en biedt een tuin. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een balkon en gratis WiFi. This is a classic Symiot merchant’s house just off the kali strata. It’s exactly halfway between yialo/the harbour and chorio/the village meaning it’s perfectly located for both. The house is simply furnished, but this allows you to appreciate the architecture, the space, the view, etc. We loved it and were very comfortable. We had a few meals/all drinks/coffee on our balcony. The kitchen is basic, but useful for fry-ups (we found the best mushrooms and herbs in the market), omelette, French toast etc, when we wanted a break from eating out. and breakfasts (yoghurt, fruit, muesli, etc). The beds were really comfortable and we enjoyed the space - by Greek standards, this is very spacious living with high ceilings etc. and aircon/heating in bedrooms was excellent.

Everything was clean and new, and the hosts were very kind and welcoming. The location is convenient, with an easy bus connection from the port to the house, and a taxi ride costs only around €6–8. Walking down to the center is fine, but walking back up is quite challenging. However, we were prepared for this, as I had checked the taxi and bus options in advance.
