On this full-day tour, you’ll explore the unique islands of Uros and Taquile in Lake Titicaca. You’ll travel by motorboat and make your first stop at the Uros Floating Islands, constructed entirely from native totora reeds. You’ll get to interact with the locals and learn about their customs and traditions. You can also opt to take a ride on a reed boat.
After a scenic voyage across the lake, you’ll reach your next destination – the island of Taquile. Here, you’ll hike for around 45 minutes to reach the village. You’ll visit the communal cooperative where you’ll find beautiful handicrafts made by the villagers. Your trip will also include a delicious lunch in a local restaurant with magnificent views.
