Warm friendly welcoming. Breakfast was amazing so many different choices. Delicious cakes to help yourself to when arriving back after a long walk. Beautiful accommodation, warm, cosy and very clean.

Breakfast was great. It included a lot of choices from toast and cereal to cooked bacon and eggs. The room was clean and well appointed. Larger than others we stayed in. The bath room was very clean and towels were thick and seemed like new. Plenty of bed covers for slightly chilly weather.

The View is in a location with the most beautiful views of the Peak Distirct. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and Lisa and Pete have thought of everything you could possible need and more. We were overwhelmed with the attention to detail. We've never stayed in a place that is as perfect as this in terms of facilities, cleanliness and comfort. I was born in the house many years ago and Pete spent a long time talking to us and showing us how brilliantly they had renovated their home. It was a very special visit for us so thank you Pete and Lisa. I hope we'll be back next time we are visiting from Australia.

Staff were very welcoming. Food in the pub was fabulous we ate there both nights and there was a great and varied selection on the menu. Room was very comfortable and very clean and toiletries smelt amazing! Already looking to book again!

location so good. easily drive to Bakewell. so quiet at night. clean and warm. and there‘s cycle hire for Mont trail at the Cafe nearby where you have breakfast. the trail was fantastic.
