Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Masseria Torre Spagnola is set in a historic 16th-Century building, 9 km from Matera. Free private parking is available on site. Everything! The place is magical! It is the best place I have ever stayed at! The surroundings are amazing. It was just a 10-15 minute drive to Sassi. The room is big and crystal clean. Beatrice is an excellent host! She gave us recommendations about the places to visit. The breakfast was delicious and mostly home-made.

Not far from historical towns and sea side. the property offers home made wines, olive oil, freshest of eggs from resident chucks too! this place will not disappoint you for sure. we enjoyed our stay enormously and we’re sorry to leave!

The only minor defect is the pool that needs some maintenance. But with all the amazing beaches in the surroundings, no probs at all! Very friendly and professional owner. Staff super nice and helpful.

We love being out in the countryside, which this was and it was wonderfully quiet. We found a wonderful restaurant down the road which our host had recommended.

A 5-minute drive from the Monticchio lakes, Country House Villa delle Rose produces cold cuts and cheeses. Very peaceful farm, great homemade, organic food. Staff very friendly even though they did not speak English we managed to communicate. Seeing the farm animals was nice. The place was extremely clean. Good value for money.
