We went in February and even though it was fairly cold and raining, we were warm in our room. There is a lovely courtyard garden. The owner was funny and very helpful and we would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a feel of old Moorish Spain. It is high up the cobbled streets but it is worth it to be able to explore the area and the owner marks on a map restaurants, bars and all the hidden gems to visit.”

The apartment is located in a quiet area outside the city centre on the way to the Sierra Nevada. This was ideal for us as we were able to park our car and use the bus to get in and out of the city centre with ease (there is a very regular, reasonably priced bus service). And there is a small supermarket in walking distance of the apartments also. The apartment itself was modern, very clean and comfortable. It was a great bonus having the swimming pool which, though relatively small, provided a welcome dip after each day's sightseeing.”

“The location is in all aspects fantastic (which you fully realize after a day or two). Close to the tapas speckled area of Realejo, the old historic Town center, and the more modern and popular Southern areas. It is Close to all buses and cabs. You really step out to a Lovely main street right outside of the main door. The view from the studio is splendid. Mountains in the horizon. No noise from the street. We got lost on the way to the place since we (stupidly enough) decided to walk from the bus station, but the staff was really patient with our delay. The central location had us right amongst the old city and allowed us to really experience the life in Granada, which extends into the apartment itself through the 'local touches' it possesses. The obvious time and effort that the owners have invested into the apartment makes it really pleasurable to spend time there, and its location and authenticity gives you the feeling of being a local. As a final point, liaising with Gloria was a delight as she is willing to help with whatever she can. I would thoroughly recommend Entre dos Aguas to anyone, as a romantic destination (!), or for time with family and friends. Interesting bonus points for the archaeological dig site across the lane that we could see from the balcony!”

“2 nights (8 girls) We got there the first night and had trouble with hot water. The heater was not working, we contacted them and they came within 10 minutes. We thought that was a great service and responded so quickly! They also left a set of towels for each person. “The appartment was perfect for our stay of two weeks. Situated in the heart of the Albaycin, it is a cute and bright flat in a traditional house with mosaic tiles all over the place. One bedroom and the kitchen have french balconies, the master bedroom has a small balcony. Though without heating or aircon, simply closing or opening the windows brought the perfect air circulation both at day and night in April. The small cooking plate and the fridge were ideal for having breakfast at the flat from time to time, but we also ate out in places our landlady had recommended. The landlady was very attentive to know if we needed any help or advise. We would definitely want to stay there again!”

“We have stayed in many apartments in our travels and we could not fault this ground floor property. It is now on our list of 'must come back' places. Everything about it was perfect for our family of three. It is comfortable and well furnished, with plenty of space to relax. It is sited in a secure, high quality apartment complex and is well appointed with all the amenities you'd expect. It's fabulously located with a number of great cafes and restaurants within easy walk, as well as bank and groceries, and the numerous shops and eateries of the Carerra del Darro. The Alhambra is a pleasant 20 minute (uphill) walk away. It was cool inside despite the days being hot (30 degrees outside). We especially loved the window shutters which, when closed, blocked all light so we could sleep soundly (a challenge in many parts of Spain!). We also found the library of local guidebooks really handy and informative. The proprietors (Emily and Robert) were very friendly and helpful. A faultless experience and terrific value for money.”

“Perfectly located in the center of Granada, huge apartments. I read some people complaining about the flat not being a proper "2 bedrooms" since one double bed is actually located in the living room and is separated by a wooden kind of curtain. Personnaly it didn't bother me nor my friend. I guess it depends on the level of privacy you desire when travelling with friends/family. Anyway, places was nice, clean and bright with windows facing a plaza.”

“Gloria is an incredible host! We only stayed for two nights and she treated us like the very best guests. We had such a good contact even before we arrived and Gloria even managed to organise two tickets for a guided Alhambra tour though is was fully booked everywhere on the Internet. She cared for us in all matters and gave us so many good recommendations for Granada that we could really enjoy our great stay. The accomodation itself is spacious for two persons, so nicely equipped and perfectly located in a side street at the bottom of Albaycin.
