“I really enjoyed the staff. Je parle un petit peu français and I enjoyed practicing French with all of the staff. In addition, I appreciated the fact that I could rent a bike for an hour or two at a time. The fresh air and the scenery was spectacular. Getting up early and going for a walk was also great exercise. The breakfast was also fine. The location was also ideal. Finally I was able to go for a swim in Lake Annecy which was not far away. Next time, I will stay for several nights.”

“1. The house has a very big potential in beeing a familial villa for rent. It looks like a classic mansion, kind of functional museum. The garden, (despite the fact that is not clean of vegetation) is very large. Children can play outdoor. 2.There are two sequoia trees in the garden; quite impressive. 3. The location is great. 4. We managed to accommodate 5 families -total of 16 people- but with some compromises from everybody. We adapted two matels on the floor for one family, we shared the bathrooms and clean ourselves of dust and spiders the areas we need such as kitchen, toilets and bathrooms.”

“A very cozy family owned place surrounded by beautyfull nature. The owners are friendly and they make you feel welcome. The owners are alwayas avaliable and they makes you feel very welcome. The man of the house rent out bikes from his little shop. The bikes are in very good condition, cause he tjek and fix them, after every use. They have garden with furniture, pool and playground, which our kids loved. We will definitely come back.”

“I loved this peaceful and cosy place in a stylish, rustic house on a hill overlooking beautiful Lake Annecy. The location was perfect - close enough to be able to cycle to Annecy, yet away from the main road around the lake. The best bit? Waking up to the rays of sunshine coming through the French windows. A spacious bathroom was a bonus and so was a very well equipped kitchen, useful for a family break.”

“Location was amazing, sitting having breakfast with the views, wow will miss it, a bit far to walk to local restaurants for me, but then I was active all day and a little drive was fine, can be walked. The owners Therese & Olivier were very welcoming and great to chat with and to find out places to go (in my case cycle) and to eat out. They allowed me to secure my bike in their house which was great. Would recommend asking first though.”
