“Since staying at the Arawan riverside hotel, I have read some bad reviews about this hotel and was glad I didnt see them before staying here. We had 2 rooms and the standard of the accommodation was very high. This is a grand hotel but for some reason, not many people stay here. It is right on the Mekong and a short, cheap tuk tuk ride into the main tourist area. The free buffet breakfast was as good as anywhere and the pool was clean although there was only 1 chair. The staff were very polite and helpful.”
