It is right in front of a metro station, at the side of an OXXO, two blocks from the "regina street" (that is a student's beer-drinking street and taquerias) and near the zocalo. It may not be in front of the colonial area, but you can walk since its only 6 blocks away. The hot watter is pretty good, and you can sleep well. If you ever feel like there is much noise (or anything), trust me that the high priced hostels in el zocalo have it too, and that you are having a really good price. Personel is really kind too.”

The room was under renovation so Hermann (the manager) called me personally to apologize and to assure that the relocation will be easy and that the new accommodation (Suites Parioli, part of their organisation) is of a similar standard, if not, bigger. When I told him that it was my parents staying, he reassured me that they will be in good hands. During check-in, Hermann went down personally to the new accommodation to meet my parents. Not only did he give them a map, hermann even gave my parents TWO full A4 sized paper printed with cafes/restaurants/places of interests. He even walked with my parents to show them around the area and made sure that they were ok and all their questions were answered. Excellent manager.
