Tentrr partners with private and public landowners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor locations. Our campsites are off-the-grid, meaning they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform. Larger parties can also use an extra 5-person pop-up tent stored onsite. You'll also have a picnic table, a dry box for storage, and 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs for outdoor furniture. Please note that heating units and fire pits may sometimes be subject to fire regulations and temporary burn bans - verify with your Tentrr Host and plan accordingly if these items are unavailable. The availability of other amenities like bedding or firewood also varies from site to site (some sites are more rustic and bare-bones than others), so we recommend reading through the listing description carefully before booking. Our secluded campsite is set up in the foothills of the White Mountains The campsite is in Canaan Valley in Tuftonboro, NH, located in the Ossipee Mountains. The mountains are what is left of an old extinct volcano that erupted around 100 million years ago. After three eruptions ten million years apart, the famous ring dike was formed. There are only three mountain ranges in the world that are similar. From this campsite, you can hike to vantage points that will look over Lake Winnipesaukee, and if you continue on, there is time enough in the day to reach the top of Mt. Shaw that will give you the view Mt. Washington and the White Mountains. On-site, the mountain-fed pond is great for swimming and has cleaner water than most lakes. Enjoy the mowed field for games or sun. Walk to our local artist and woodworking shops. You can take a wood carving course here in the valley. Visit local attractions like the Castle In The Clouds, Lake Winnipesaukee, and local town shops. In the evening, enjoy the fire, stargaze, and fall asleep to the sound of Canaan Brook gurgling down the valley.

This campsite is equipped with the following: Flush toilet. -Screened in gazebo. -propane heater -Hot water outdoor shower. -New gravel road allowing campers to drive right to the tent site. -Well marked hiking trails. -Clean mountain fed swimming pond . -Charcoal grill and new picnic table at the pond.(supply your own charcoal) -Campfire wood for sale on side of the driveway on the way into camp site. -The queen size bunk bed is equipped with cover sheets only, so please bring your own bedding or sleeping bags. Just added WI-FI this week! Site guidelines Please drive into camp slowly and stay on the driveway at all times. Please do NOT drive on the mowed field. Park at site.
