This 11th century Tuscan farmhouse is nestled in the beautiful Florentine hills, amongst private gardens where you can enjoy al fresco dining. All rooms offer air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Il Castellucio is a real gem in the middle of the countryside. We were blown away by the charm of the hotel and the scenery. The staff were amazing and so knowledgeable about the local beers, wine and spirits. The photos don’t do this place justice. We loved it so much we extended our stay by another night. It’s the perfect place to stay a night during a road trip. The breakfast was also fantastic!

Villa Petriolo located in Cerreto Guidi has four restaurants, fitness centre and a garden. The property is absolutely beautiful. There is so much care and attention in every little detail. We enjoyed an incredible stay. From the wine, to the food, to the gorgeous rooms, everything was perfect. Special thanks to all the staff who took care of us during our stay. Special thanks to Lorenzo (the wonderful sommelier), Niccolo and Francesca for being so personable and caring with us. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Fantastic place with exceptional service! We planned to arrive around 7pm and enjoy dinner on our first night in Italy. Unfortunately our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until 1am. I had let them know and they assured me it was no problem and they sent easy to follow directions knowing it would be late and we would be tired. We were greeted warmly despite the late hour. The best morning we had the best breakfast of the trip in their lovely garden. The only regret is that we didn't have more time to enjoy the beautiful grounds, rooms location, and especially the wonderful staff.

Set in Bucine, 48 km from Florence, Il Verreno features an outdoor pool and sauna. Siena is 25 km away. The accommodation is air conditioned and has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.
