When you shower the whole ground of the bathroom got wet but within 3 minutes it was all gone so no big problem.

We arrived a little early (20 mins or so) and were immediately greeted by Elena who was fantastic and spoke excellent English and we discussed dietary requirements of my partner who suffers from celiac. We talked about food options for breakfast and dinner. Normally they do not cook for lunch but made an exception for me and I had a very delicious beef and cottage cheese with peppers. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating. The only thing stopping me from increasing rating from a 9 to a 10 would be the lack of view from the room. Oddly the bedroom faced inwards with the bathroom having the better view.

Not really a bad thing but just be aware that the hotel is about 30 mins hike (not a leisurely walk!) or 5 min drive outside the Theth itself- the location is good for the Theth to Valbona hike but adds on quite a lot of extra time for the Blue Eye/Waterfall hike.

Everything about the hotel is great, we really enjoyed our time here. The 3 daughters help with English translation and are very sweet and make it extra fun. Food is very nice with a couple vegetarian options. Rooms are very comfortable and cosy! Hotel was easy to find and lots of parking space.

We stayed for 2 nights here at Gjoni's guesthouse and were truly amazed by the scenery, the amazing food & wine and above all the hospitaly. This is a family run guest house where everyone feels welcome! I would definitely recommend!

It would be nice if there were more vegetarian options in the dinner menu.

We spent two night at this guesthouse in Teth and we had an amazing time. The rooms are very comfortable and the views are beautiful. The three girls, daughters of the owner, were very lovely and helpful. They even showed us their secret spot with great mountain views. The breakfast was also really good, there was a wide variety of traditional food. The guesthouse is not located in the centre of Teth, but there is an improvised footpath/trail that takes you there. Would definitely stay here again.

The owner-family is very friendly. The kids speak perfect English. We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast and dinner were traditional and delicious. Parking in front of the room. The accommodation is reachable over a short gravel route from the main road.

It is such a magical place. You wake up with thouse amazing views! Breakfast is fantastic. And the best of all, the 3 lovely girls ( the daughters of the owners) that would make your stay fantastic! They welcome us, teach us albanian and help us in our stay. Their english was better than mine! What a lovely family!

The owner was very helpful and accommodating, lovely man. The room is very clean and comfortable with heating that’s great for the cold months. It’s a short walk from the village and due to bad winter weather the owner actually drove us, which was every kind! There is a good restaurant on site with friendly staff. Wish I could have stayed for longer! Theth was My favourite place in Albania, I loved it and will be returning :)

Great place with great host and great food. If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Theth you definitely should book this lovely appartment. We were really tired after few days of hiking and sleeping in the mountains in a tent. On our way back to this lovely place,the Host was waiting for us to pick us up and drop off quickly to his place. We could warm up faster and finally eat something. The Host was very helpful. He even booked a shuttle to our next location. And the breakfast...Best ever!!! This place is a MUST on your way!!

The family is so lovely! The 2 daughters welcomed us very nicely and the breakfast was simply amazing! Rooms are cozy and clean with a beautiful view of the mountains. Just a 5 minute drive from the village. We would definitely come back here.

The beds were a little firm for our tastes, but I think they are normal compared to other places we've stayed in Albania. A sign at the start of the driveway would be nice, as the road isn't listed on google maps and is a little hard to spot.

We had a wonderful stay at Gjoni's! Our host was very kind and hospitable and made our stay very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts each morning with an incredible view of the mountains and the valley below. The facilities are new and very clean.

You need definitely a car for this location, it’s quite some distance of you want to explore the town and other restaurants. Also if you want to hike - please consider that it’s roughly a 30min walk upwards from the town.

Best breakfast that we had in Albania! Really kind and helpful owner, felt comfortable - even though it was really cold they provided us a second blanket right away. The view is amazing (Theth valley and mountains).

The location is a good 2.4 km outside the centre so after a long day of trekking be prepared for a walk or ask for a lift

The family were just amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. A real family business where you embraced the parents who ran an amazing guest house, great food, rooms and service. Their kids spike brilliant English and made it so much more fun.
