Verified reviews from real guests

How does it work?

It starts with a booking

The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are, and more.

And finally, a review

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Location is excellent and staff where trying their best.

Toilet seat had not been cleaned on arrival and we then found a crisp packet down the side of the seat in the bedroom. Room was not ready when we arrived and had to wait over an hour whilst it was cleaned. The hotel did give us a free drink to compensate.

Ii absolutely recommend any of the hotels in this chain. Staff are friendly, hotel is spotless, breakfast was a very decent continental (that included eggs too!) and the location is a few minutes walk from Hammersmith, which seems to have direct links with absolutely everywhere you might want to go in London. We had a fabulous weekend and the hotel played a huge part. Big thank you to all involved.

This is a budget hotel... but you get FAR more than you pay for.

I liked most things about this Hotel. It was genuinely hard to fault on almost every level. Great staff, comfortable, clean and quiet for its location.

I felt I was paying over the odds due to its superb location. Next time I would stay 2 or 3 miles further out for half the price and spend a bit on Taxi's. The Brumus restaurant was good, but not good enough for a hotel of this quality and price. Be aware - Soholistic is not a Spa, it is a Gym and a treatment room as stated in the brochure. On re-reading the details this was my mistake so I can't fault the hotel, but others may jump to the same conclusion on seeing the photo of the wonderful (spotlessly clean) pool.

I have stayed here on several occassions as its close to my home and I love the spa which is a great way to relax after a stressful week in the office. It also has a great location

All standards have slipped and ater many visits this will be my last. Spa closed with no notification! Mould around the windows, windows so dirty you cannot see through them. No robes, information or food menu in the room. Staff sent us the wrong way to replacement spa centre, 40 mins later we found out it was on Park lane!!!!!!!!!! Across the road. Poor value for money. You can stay at a 5* for this price without these issues

We had a nice room and were very close to Earls Court Station. Most of the staff were obliging and helpful.

The staff member who checked us in was irritating on many levels. She was patronising, overly polite and her main concern was to join us up to a rewards scheme. She offered us an attic room for which access was a flight of stairs. Not ideal for a seventy year old couple. She then said she would give us an upgrade. The room was very nice but seemed to match the one described on our booking sheet. Our safe did not work and remained so for our four night stay. Because of this we were offered dinner, a main meal and a glass of wine each. We accepted this but the waiter was not told of these arrangements and when he mistakenly went to leave the bottle of wine on our table another staff member unceremoniously snatched it. Very embarrassing and humiliating for us and the waiter. He came back later and apologised to us, not his fault

very good shower - a rarety in the whole of London very comfortable beds wonderfully designed throughout

First room given was on the ground level next to the reception and the common room. You can hear every word spoken plus you will be quickly aquainted with the underground schedule as you can hear and feel it too. Alternatively we were offered a tiny attic room, usually funtionining as a single room, for a GBP50,- discount per night or a damp room in the basement next to the breakfast room and even closer to the tube. We opted for the attic room. But at this price level I just expect more.

The Hotel is at 3 mins from the tube station. Near the tube station it's also a supermarket from where you can buy smth to drink or smth sweet. The staff was nice. I also liked the english breakfast (bacon, 2 eggs, bean, sausage, grilled tomato, mushrooms). Very good prices comparing with other hotels.

Not very clean. You could hear everything was happening on the other side of the door or outside (the window was not closing well). The hotel is far from the center, even with the tube.

There's very little to like about this place apart from its location - just around 10 mins to Victoria Station and a bit more to the palace; and the little cafe called "Tomtom" at the corner of Ebury Street that serves some very high standard coffees and very good pastries and cooked breakfasts.

Everything else. I was given a 'room' in the attic, 5 floors up. It's not a problem for me at all without a lift. The 'room' is a space that has a double bed right at the door, and a shower/toilet room cut into most part of the room. The first thing I noticed while checking the bed was two gigantic shoe prints on the bed sheet. I would have thought that if the person changing the sheets should have noticed the dirt and not put that sheet onto the bed at all. This boggles me. Though upon going downstairs to notify reception, the bed sheet was changed swiftly, though not without the staff commenting "Oh it's not our fault, and the next sheet might just be the same." The window catch was missing a screw so the window couldn't stay open without it being secured with a rope. The rope, which I got from a roller blind that fell onto me while I tried to roll it. The whole thing fell and it appeared that it was just dumped onto some plastic supports screwed on the wall. I'm not a tall person at all and I had trouble fitting myself close enough to the sink in the bathroom without hitting my head on the slanting roof. The sink is probably the smallest I have ever seen and with only hot and extremely hot water supply. I do realised that it is a 'budget' hotel at £54 a night and it is at an excellent location in London, however, I am very disappointed at the service and facilities offered by this place. It seems that they are exploiting their guests because of their location. I will never recommend this place to anyone, at all.

The family was lovely. They answered all our questions and doubts about our stay in London. We have an excellent continental breakfast, and the possibility to get sandwich and extra food if one day we were no hungry at breakfast's time. We could practice and improve our English with them. The park near the house is extraordinary and peaceful: It is only 100 m away and enough for footing or for a good walk. It has a lake too.

The bathroom and toilet are small, but enough for us. The house is 20 minuts away from the centre of London (using the underground)
