Verified reviews from real guests

How does it work?

It starts with a booking

The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are, and more.

And finally, a review

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

We have been in the Milestone before and we will be again soon, also we hope to visit other hotels of the Red Carnation group, we had always great times, the staff is very nice and helpful, the atmosphere is great, the restaurant is fantastic and the bar is always there and good. This hotel is very convenient for anyone who wants to visit London for business and pleasure at the same time.

Location, location, location! Probably the safest part of London as it's down the street from the New Scotland Yard. Walking distance to Big Ben, Parliamentary Buildings, London Eye, Buckingham Palace and a bunch of good sightseeing spots.

Room was quite small, shower was hard to maneuver around for a 6-foot 200lbs guy but manageable. Got a great view of the building across the street.

Staff tried to do everything they could to make things better. They are prompt, courteous, and efficient. (The breakfast room folks could smile more, but hey, they have to clean rooms after.) The location is pretty good in a not swarming area of London, near to the Underground at Hammersmith.

The rooms are painfully small and uncomfortable. While there is an en suite, I have to walk up about 70 steps to get to my room. No elevator. It's hot, cramped, basic - and one of the worst spaces I've inhabited ever. It's essentially a closet under the roof. But it's London and better spaces cost much more. (As it is, the prices here are outrageous.) I am glad I am leaving. Where does the money people spend around here come from?

It is a fantastic hotel. The location is perfect, just few blocks from Harrods, Armani, Burberry, Lacoste and many other stores. The English architecture associated to well decorated rooms and an incomparable staff make Egerton our place in London.

All staff were very professional and held a sense of pride yet not snotty and welcoming and willing to please / assist. Suite was fantastic!! Bed, pillows, shower and products were wonderful. Fantastic service in the restaurant too with manager being extremely on the ball with orders and food delicious. I only work down the road but i will definitely be coming be returning to stay and also frequent the bar / restaurant with friends and colleagues.

I didn't get to spend enough time in the suite nor use the facilities. Next time though....

Recently refurbished old public school (Chesterton was a pupil here), this brand new hotel is good value for the money, especially if one takes into account the price of accomodation in London. Within walking distance from Kensington (35 min), it is also conveniently placed near the underground.

Fantastic location 1 min from Embankment tube yet discrete and quiet. Marvelous homy room decor with a wide selection of channels both English and Arabic (All MBCs, Dubai tv, Qatar, etc) and other languages. Exceptional staff and service. Concierge managed to get us last minute theatre tickets (1 day before the show). Very convenient to have early check-in and late check-out. Espa is wonderful, one of best in London. Room was arranged twice daily and a wide selection of newspapers delivered to your room daily. New favorite hotel in London, will stay again and definitely recommend.

Very modern and ideally clean rooms with all necessary facilities. The hotel is just a few minute walk from Bank underground station. Breakfast is not cheap, but very good. Staff is very friendly and ready to help.

With 580 BP for 3 nights the hotel blocked 1240 BP on my card. I was told at the reception that it's a standard procedure and it will be released automatically. Correct, but in 30 days only according to my bank...

Great hotel, great design, very comfortable & guest freindly. Great service, too. We enjoyed to sit & sip our drinlks under the glass dome of the lobby.

No night life in walking distance, but this is understandable given the location. Breakfast could be a bit more extensive. Glass of bubbles eg on Sundays,

B&B was very clean & comfortable adequate amount of towels, tea/coffee facilities with a choice of hot drinks in room. Good selection of toiletries in the bathroom, cooked breakfast/cerals is served in your room (no fruit). Very central in London, but outside of conjestion zone (sky tv in room with movie channels). Mr T was very helpful and friendly and knowledgeably of the area. Highly recommended.

street meter parking, we arrived when the restrictions where in operation then after 8.30pm is free parking til 9.am in the morning then we had to get up and put more money in the meter (not cheap)
