You couldn’t open the windows in the room (only a small one) and I could not find to regulate the temperature so it was always extremely hot

Had a spacious triple room available. Was clean and the breakfast room was nice with a view. Only an overnight stay after we arrived from our cruise. Was located quite a climb from the Main city Street, but central.

Bit impersonal with codes for door access etc. That said the receptionist was very pleasant and doing her best single handed. Biggest issue was the price charged was significantly higher than the original price we booked at on booking.com.

Convenient location near the main shopping street and harbor. The breakfast room has a spectacular view on the channel. The room was comfortable and pretty big.

The place was too warm! We stayed in late March and even with the radiator off and the window slightly open, the room was too hot.

The location of the property was very convenient for restaurants and the docks, along with other sites. The breakfast was very good, also. Due to an airline strike, we needed to change our dates and rearrange many things, including hotels…Alto Andino staff was incredibly helpful while we working through all of that. GREAT staff throughout our stay, also.

Breakfast was better than other hotels I have used in Ushuaia. Staff were helpful and friendly, especially in assisting me with contacting Aerolineas Argentina to confirm my flight home and seat, which I appreciated.

Nothing to dislike at all.

The view was fantastic from my Channel facing room, as was the view from the 4th floor breakfast room. The hotel was clean and modern, and all the staff were friendly. Angie on the front desk was particularly helpful with dinner recommendations and orientation in Ushuaia. Taxis were easy to organise, just ask at reception a few clicks on the computer and a few minutes later one turns up outside the door.

I’d love the option of having a coffee in my room, there was only tea.

I wasn’t impressed with the breakfast, but it was very typical of the breakfasts we’ve had in South America. I thought the location was good, it was easy to get to. The staff were very helpful with restaurant suggestions. And it was nice to be able to store our luggage and come back for it later.

First and foremost, I loved the location and how easy it was to find and get back to after walking around town. Hotel staff were just lovely. They were so nice and helpful. The room was lovely, and I slept so well while I was there. The 4th floor offered some great views of town and the mountains. Beautiful!
