Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

ArgentinaI suppose it has everything to do with the ever-changing topsy-tervy world of Argentina exchange rates, but — in reality — I don’t know how much I paid. And this is the third time I’ve used booking to reserve a room, and each of the three times the owners of the hotel reach out and offer a whole lot of very confusing ways to pay.

ArgentinaThere are pool pictures on so I thought the hotel had a pool. The bathroom's shower was very very small, that should be communicated.
All in all staff was friendly and the cleanliness was constant. TV and AC were new and in perfect condition. Completely black out curtains so perfect for resting . I would stay there again.

the venue is well located close to the shopping center, high rated restaurants. The colonial architecture is very nice and the staff is always willing to help you out.

South KoreaIt was too noisy because of the sounds of fans(air conditioner). There is kitchen but just electronic stove. no pot, no fan, no spoon, no plate nothing! The staffs were extremely rude. One of the staffs were terribly rude. When I asked about the payment to her, she didn't explain properly and she pointed fingers at me while she said me. I was very shocked with her rude attitude. I didn't ask her name but only she had brown colored face among the employees. I wanted to pay with cash but she said that it was already paid with my credit card. I saved the information of the credit card to book not to pay. It was already happened one week ago when I stayed this hotel. The manager said that I paid just one night for credit card. other nights I booked for one week later will be paid with cash. That's why I didn't know why it was paid with credit card. Because it was written in my booking, 'pay in the accommodation'. Unfortunately it was paid with credit card without my permission. The hotel and Booking.com didn't mention anywhere the booking is paid with the credit card. I paid with cash for the first night same hotel. I just believed what manager said when it was paid with credit card for second night. If I pay with credit card, I have to pay twice because of the exchange rate in Argentina now. I explained the situation and asked canceling the payment and to pay with cash. Because they didn't allow me to know exactly and it was not written correctly booking.com when I booked this hotel. Finally they didn't help me although the hotel and booking.com didn't mention correctly. I had to pay twice for the accommodation. I was very unpleasant of this experience including booking.com. I used booking.com many times but never happened like this. I was very disappointed this hotel and booking.com. I want to ask to give me back my money 50%. If I paid the accommodation payment I could paid 50% of cash.
this hotel is located in safe area. The room is small but the facilities were quite new and clean.

We arrived at the hotel and paid. Once in the room there was a strong smell of painting. So we changed room but the smell was the same. As it is quite dangerous to smell this at night we decided to change hotel but they did not want to reimburse telling us it wasn’t smelling anything special. It is such a shame to treat clients in such a way and to be dishonest. We lost our money… Besides the room had no window looking outside, just a little window overlooking the corridor.
