How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Shower was not really good, there was not a good amount of water from the shower.
Rooms are in the jungle and very easy to access. Bathrooms is big.

I would like it if they had bike rentals or could have directed me. The pool was nice, but people don't shower first and I could see oil on top of the surface. An outdoor spray would help. None of the pools have them

The room is spacious but there is actually very little functional space. There was one hook for towels in the whole huge bathroom. Only one narrow open “wardrobe” with 3 shelves and 4 hangers. So if you are traveling as a family for an extended stay, this is pretty awkward. If you need a hotel for a day or two, it is a unique experience worth the occasional discomfort. For a longer stay, I would go for something more traditional. It rained several nights that we were there and it was super loud. It must be something that the roof is made of. Didn’t bother me and the kids but the hubby couldn’t sleep because of it.
Good location, walking distance to attractions like Aripuca. 10 min drive to the falls. Beautiful jungle around. We dined at the hotel - you have to reserve 1h in advance by 19.30. The food was good and reasonably priced. The beds were comfy, except for the pillows, which were really thin. But it is soooo humid around, probably doesn't make sense to splurge on good pillows:) It rained a lot on the day we arrived, so we got to enjoy lounging in the deck in the hammock. But unless it rains you will be out and about enjoying what Puerto Iguazu has to offer

I love the attention they gave us, the owner is kind, Nicolas and the staffs are amazing. They provide transport for us at affordable price to the Iguazu falls which is not far from the hotel but not a walking distance. The next morning at 6am they transported us to the airport, Nicolas is a kind gentleman he drove us.

Enjoyed the ‘remote’ feeling of the property with your own lodge on the edge of the national park - while in between the entrance to the Argentina side of Iguazu Falls and the town of Puerto Iguazu.

It was strangely noisy, considering it was in a jungle, I kept hearing noise very often (I did not share a wall with anyone) and I would go out to investigate but nothing is there, so I am not sure if it was wild animals
The staff were good. It is miles away from what it claims to be on Booking.com . It is nowhere near 4* , I would give it 2* Again the staff were very kind

staff not particularly friendly or welcoming and swimming pool had a lot of slime on the bottom and didn’t feel clean. we’d booked room with two double beds and a single and when we arrived there was just one double and one single. there were just 3 small towels which were old and no proper bath Mats for the bathroom so became slippery. there was only one spare blanket for the 3 of us so difficult if it was a cold night. when we tried to organise taxi to airport the hotel quoted a ridiculous price and when we showed him by goggle the correct price the price suddenly went down by 50%. we were then asked for an additional $100 for damage to sheets etc which was just incredible. very disappointing.
beautiful setting and could potentially be gorgeous hotel. breakfast didn’t have any hot food but the continental spread was fresh with lovey fresh fruit. wild cats on the property added to a real jungle vibe and lovely and peaceful.

Beautiful accomodation in the jungle with big comfy rooms, nice balconies, hammocks, and nice big windows. The staff helped us organise everything we needed.

Nice quite place in the middle of the forest. This is the place when you can relax and enjoy the nature, swimming pool, walks in the forest or also you can rent a bicycle. There is very good food to order in the hotel's restaurant.

The decor of the rooms needs to be updated.
