The checkin process. I found it difficult while checking in. Nobody was there (even though it was before 3 pm) in the reception. Not everything was mentioned in English. Also, getting key card was challenging. I had to call (international) to get someone in the reception to get the key card. The check in process MUST BE better than what it is now. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.

The rooms were clean. Great location. It was just 5 min walk from Station. Also, the attractions spots were very much walkable. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was also nice. Except the check in process, it was a very pleasant stay.

The sink was only in the same room as the shower, not as the toilet. This made it complicated when you needed to use the toilet but your friend was showering.

After a few disappointing places to stay on my trip around Europe, this was a great example of how to do it right. Smooth check in, room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Good information available, including a walk route which I used for my first day . The breakfast was varied, plentiful and excellent quality.

Very clean, wonderful breakfast. Alina was very helpful in giving wonderful eateries. All of her suggestions were perfect. Alina is very delightful and eager to help, very professional. Maria in the made a delicious breakfast, and presented a very welcoming breakfast area. It is less than 5 minutes walk from Salzburg HBF and within a 15-20min walk to the old town walking along the river.

At night some groups of strangers smoking herb “mariguana” at front door…so is not great image for families who stay there.

Nothing! I had managed myself an Airbnb business with over fifty apartments. It just impressive how they manage this business. Maybe the name refer more to a hostel and could mislead customers…this is a 4 stars accommodation for an affordable price not hostel.

Amazing! We haven’t expected this level of service for this size of hotel. It’s something in middle of Hotel and Airbnb business as it has all facilities you can expect from hotel but rooms and facilities are spread over 3 habitation buildings. Everything has been prepared meticulously to contribute in guests comfort. The host cares of every single details to make you feel home, coffee and tea provided in room, bed welcome card, shoe horn, safe box, electrical plugs on both sides of the bed,…typical all accessories you only find in a 4 stars hotel. The breakfast is also amazing and it definitely worth the money you pay for.

There is no sink in the WC so you will have to run to the bathroom to wash your hand after using the toilet.

The wifi connection in the room was very weak. At most points, we couldn't get a good connection, which wasn't very helpful when we wanted to search restaurants and other information.

No lift and we needed to carry big luggages upstairs (curved staircase)which was very difficult. A bit confusing when check in because there are three separate building for checking in, staying and having breakfast.

It is close to the Salzburg station. The apartment was spacious and clean.

Would have preferred an in person check in rather than self, but that's not a big deal. The breakfast room is in a separate building and again, minor points but I'd prefer it to be in the same building.

Excellent breakfast, probably one of the best we've had. Very accommodating to our three children and the noise and mess they made, staff seemed to be happy to help us! Large spacious room which fit all 5 of us comfortably and they provided a cot plus bedding. Stones throw away from the station and about 25 min walk to the main centre of salzburg, along the river.
