Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The house is clean, spacious and bright, with great views from the windows. The owner always answered my questions quickly and made me feel at ease. This house has everything we need, heating, washing machine, dryer, vacuum cleaner, etc., and it feels as comfortable as our own home. This house is in a great location, very close to the town of Bad Aussee, and if you want to go to the lake, it is also very close to Grundelsee

Czech RepublicIt was raining when we arrived, and the owner didn't assist us in opening the flat or provide the key. In my efforts to locate the landlord, I managed to find the place, only to be met with a lackluster greeting. The landlord seemed too preoccupied with other matters, clearly adhering to a 'customer last' approach that left me feeling highly disappointed and disrespected. To add to the frustration, he asked us to pay an additional fee for tax, something he had failed to include during the booking process. Why on earth was this not communicated earlier? The entire welcome was deeply unsatisfactory, marked by indifference and a lack of professionalism. His focus on his own affairs rather than the needs of his guests only compounded the negative experience. I definitely recommend contacting the owner prior to travel, as he seems more interested in attending to his own staff than to those relying on his accommodations. Overall, this experience left a bad taste in our mouths, and I would caution others to be aware of the potential for such poor treatment

OmanThe only thing the beautiful balcony just opposite to the river was under maintenance, but the owner give me heads up before coming and I accepted thinking that he will give some discount :) 😁 The apartment was also just opposite to the main road which could noisy, but overall it was quiet in the night time!
Very clean and really more space that it looks in the web! The sitting room was very organised and with wide space! I like the decoration and the small details and touches everywhere in the apartment! The location was outstanding just near the river ! If I know, I will book for more than few nights as you can spend a week or more just relaxing in this very beautiful place! It is highly recommended especially for a family! I will make sure to visit again ! Also there was is a laundry machine, something you don’t see a lot in other places!
